Catching everyone up....

So it has been a while since I last posted anything. I thought that I would add a bunch of pictures. I made collages so that I could add more pictures at once. This is a huge post, so I hope you enjoy. The pictures are kind of in a specific order. But not really.

There was an activity that we went to where everyone was supposed to dress up in 50's outfits for a murder mystery dinner. It was fun to get all dressed up. I now have a green dress that who in the world knows when I will wear again. :) But it was fun to go out all dressed up! There are more pictures somewhere, but I can't seem to find them.

One satruday evening, we found out that there was this mini golf place that was in downtown only for a short time. So we got on facebook and won free tickets. So, we went. It was a lot of fun. Weird and full of very very strange people, but we had a blast. Towards the end of the night (when we were getting ready to leave) there was this random instrumental band that came in. They were called Sporkestra. They were amazing and we REALLY enjoyed listening to them. It was drums and trumpets. Way fun. I just stood there and listened for forever.

For Michelle's birthday we went out to happy hour at some restaurant/bar place. The food was great and it was a lot of fun hanging out with fun people. We went downtown and it was great. For Annika's birthday we went to a hawaiian food restaurant with a bunch of people and had a blast. Then the 3 of us went downtown for the Starlight Parade. It was fun and lots of cool things to see. Tons of people!! And as we walked back to the car, we took pictures with random things like a statue and a crosswalk sign. :) Downtown is a lot of fun! Well, if you can find parking. :)

Over the weekend for Michelle's birthday, she and decided to go to the rose gardens and it was soooo very much fun. We just took fun pictures and did random things. The roses are soooo beautiful and smell so wonderful. I just love it. I am such a plant nerd and I love it!!! We took a TON of pictures.

For the Rose festival, Michelle, Annika, Ashley and I went downtown to watch the parade. We also met up with our friends Kendall and Jessie. It was a lot of fun and we loved seeing all the floats. Then we went to the waterfront and watched the Dragon Boat Races. It was so cool. I would love to get involved in things like that. I should probably look into it. I love going downtown. There are so many fun things to do!

Around the end of the first month that I lived here in Oregon, we decided to take a random trip to Reno. I wanted to see my friend Gueller and Annika wanted to see her sister. And Michelle just came along for the ride. It was a very fun and very fast trip. I really enjoyed myself. We took a lot of pictures. It was pretty great! I really hope that we have a random fun trip like that again soon!!!

Well that is the end of the funness for me. There are more pictures to come eventually. We did some pretty fun things this weekend and I am excited to share the pictures. Portland is a fun place to be. And downtown is awesome and there is a lot to do. It's growing on me here!!! Well, until next time.....

Oregon - My new home....

Well, I am far too lazy to try to add a lot of pictures and talk about all of them, but let me give you all an update...I now live in Oregon. I got a job (my dream job mind you) at Monrovia in their sales department. So my mom and dad helped pack me up and we drove the 17 hours to Oregon. I love you all and miss you and hope to see you soon!

These are just a bunch of pictures. A mixture of what my office looks like (awesome huh!) and what my apartment looks like. The hotel that my parents stayed in and just other random pictures.

This is the Evergreen Aviation Museum that has the Spruce Goose in it. It's HUGE! And it was way fun watching Dad. It was like a kid in a candy shop. So much fun! We also went to the Portland Temple. So pretty!

This is my apartment. The front room has been rearranged again since we took these pictures and it looks awesome now, and my room is clean. Doesn't look like the mess in this picture. I have some new pictures that I will post when I have some time again!

Desi, Karalee, James and Gueller all took me to breakfast the day I left town for my birthday breakfast. It was so fun! I miss them all so much! Well, that is all for now. Love you all and I'll write again soon!

Summer Fun

I know it's been a while since I posted something, so here it is. I had a lot of pictures, so I made collages with this new cool program that I downloaded. So awesome. Now I have a lot of pictures on here in a small space. So cool!

Well, for my summer fun, Ellen (my totally awesome friend) and I took a short trip to California. We went to Visalia which is where I lived last summer for my internship. We stayed with my friend Kathy. While we were there, we went to the Sequoia National Forest. I have been there before (I have pictures on here in a previous blog entry from last year), and I still find it breathtaking. Ellen loved it and thought it was as beautiful as I did.

The next day, we went to the beach. And let me tell you what, there is nothing like laying on the beach and reading a book! It just can't be beat! I was in absolute heaven that day! Until I realized that I got really sunburned cause i'm a moron! But man it was a really fun day! After we were at the beach and on our way back to Visalia, we stopped by some fair grounds (I don't remember the name of the town) and met up with my good friend Nate. It was really good to see him. Then we drove back to Visalia.

The last day we were in Cali we drove home. We woke up and were really tired and just ready to be back home. So our drive home was fun and full of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and windmills. It was a great trip!

On our trip, we decided that the best thing to do would be to bring all our own food so that we didn't have to spend a lot of money always eating out. We had the best food ever! Cheese, celery, peanut butter and jelly, chips, cherries, oh man, I can't even remember everything, but it was SOOOOOOO good! I'm so glad we choose to do that!

I hope I am able to take another fun trip again soon. I love to travel. I guess i'll just have to work on making more money so that I can take fun trips more often!!!

Just one more....

This is my last post for the day... I hope. Haha. Well, as you can see, I have changed my blog layout and in the process, I lost half of the addresses of the people's blogs that I usually check out! So PLEASE comment on something so that I can find you again and add you! Thanks!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MOM & DAD!

It's my parents 30th Anniversary today. I think that is so awesome! I just want them to know I love them and all they do for me! They're are so great!!!!

HIKING WITH MARCI!!!

My friend Marci (I met her in Logan while I was going to school at Utah State and we became super awesome friends!) came to visit me here in St. George and it was so great and so fun. We went hiking while she was here at the Green Valley Gap and it was so beautiful! Hot, very hot, but gorgeous. I had been to the Gap many many times, but had never hiked to the end. We kept saying we were going to turn back cause we had to be somewhere, but we were both so curious to see how long it was that we didn't even care and kept going. I had a blast and I was so happy that she came to visit! It was a lot of fun!

This is probably my most favorite picture we took while we were hiking. It was a gorgeous day! The sky was so blue that it looked like someone had painted it that color. It was beautiful!

This was also the saddest day of my life...when my sandals that I have had for many years fell apart and I had to hike all the way back to the car with a broken shoe. So very sad. It didn't break until right before we started heading back to the car which I thought was nice of it. But I love those sandals and it's really hard to be able to part with them. They have had a lot of miles put on them! Sad. May my sandals rest in peace.
