Well I had an incredibly fun day today. I went to the Sequoia National Park with Liz, Jenny, Brian, and Dom. It was a lot of fun. I got to see the General Sherman which is not only the largest living tree on the earth, it is also the largest living organism. It's amazing. We all really enjoyed our day! Afterwards we ate at this incredible yummy deli and then I ate the most delicious Mint Chocolate Chip Icecream i've ever had in my life. It was mighty good. I was also excited cause I got to hug a huge tree! I had a really fun day! Then we all made dinner and ate at Brians house. It was a lot of fun and it was the first time I had ever eaten at a friends house where all of us ate at the table. It was awesome! There was 13 of us. I had a great day today and it was great fun!

FUN IN CALI!
Well the girls and I decided that we wanted to take a trip to San Francisco. And oh man it was a lot of fun! We wanted to go to Alkatraz, but sadly, that didn't happen because they were all sold out. But we had a lot of fun doing other things like going around China town, and being able to go onto an old submarine (that was really cool!), we also went to the Aquarium on Pier 39. We had a lot of fun and took some fun pictures! We also celebrated Liz's 21st birthday the same week. We went and had Mexican food that was supposed to be amazing, but it wasn't as good as Kathy's. California

Well I am officially living in California now. I live in Visalia which is kinda central Cali. I really like it here. The weather is really close to what it's like at home. I will be starting work on Monday at Monrovia Growers for the summer. It's my internship that I have to have for school. I am really excited about it. Since I was 19 and working at Lillywhite's Plant World in St. George, I have always wanted to work for this company. So this is pretty much a dream come true. They have been telling us that if they like us, they will offer us jobs for when we are finished with school. So me and my friend Liz want to give this our all. This is a great company to work for and i'm really excited for this experience. I really like Visalia. It's really confusing about how to get around, but we are doing pretty well about remembering where things are at and how to get home. Monrovia is only 15 minutes from where we are all living. I am living with an old friend of mine named Kathy. She has two beautiful fun boys Lincoln and Noah. They are a lot of fun. I am not used to waking up as early as little kids so that has been a lot of fun to get used to. I am loving it here. The people we have met so far are great! Especially Elizabeth and Brenden Wilson. They are the couple that Liz and Jenny are living with. This is going to be a great summer! On our way here, we stopped in Vegas and walked around for a couple hours and it was a lot of fun! I will post more pictures when I take some more! I am excited for this summer! I'll keep everyone posted on what's going on!

Spring Break 2008
This is the first night in Portland. It was Heather, Me, Liz, Becky, and Jenny. We weren't supposed to have 5 girls in a room, but we did because Liz has to leave the next morning to fly back to Logan for her grandfathers funeral. We missed her a ton on the trip!!! She is one of my favorites!
Here is most of the group at a rose garden in oregon. we didn't really get to see any roses blooming cause it's not the right time yet, but it was still really pretty!!!
This picture is of Brett, Maria, me, Becky, Jenny, and Heather at the Japanese gardens in Oregon on our plant science club spring break trip!
It was so pretty there! We all had the hardest time leaving!

Sunday Night Activity

Well, my roommates are insane. We decided that we were going to pop these balloons with our butts and it was hilarious. So here are the pictures! OH and we were rubbing them on our heads to make them stick to the ceiling! It was quite entertaining! Oh and one of my roommates thought it would be funny for all of
us to put balloons in our shirts. Don't ask me why, but it was dang funny! I laughed so hard I was crying!

The Snow in Logan
Well I decided that I should document how much snow there really is here in Logan and just how cold it can get. Can't really see the cold, but the icicles should give you a pretty good idea. I haven't seen icicles this big since I lived in Salt Lake many years ago! I took the
majority of these pictures on my walk home from school, and then a couple at my apartment. The one with the tree is pretty funny. It's our neighbor Wylies Christmas tree. He threw it off his porch and we have all just left it there cause we thought it looked cool. It sure did make us all laugh! And the funny thing is, it's still alive. Go figure, it's sitting in a ton of snow. W
ell, that is my story for today. I'm trying to take more and more pictures.
We will see what else comes up later!
