California

Well I am officially living in California now. I live in Visalia which is kinda central Cali. I really like it here. The weather is really close to what it's like at home. I will be starting work on Monday at Monrovia Growers for the summer. It's my internship that I have to have for school. I am really excited about it. Since I was 19 and working at Lillywhite's Plant World in St. George, I have always wanted to work for this company. So this is pretty much a dream come true. They have been telling us that if they like us, they will offer us jobs for when we are finished with school. So me and my friend Liz want to give this our all. This is a great company to work for and i'm really excited for this experience. I really like Visalia. It's really confusing about how to get around, but we are doing pretty well about remembering where things are at and how to get home. Monrovia is only 15 minutes from where we are all living. I am living with an old friend of mine named Kathy. She has two beautiful fun boys Lincoln and Noah. They are a lot of fun. I am not used to waking up as early as little kids so that has been a lot of fun to get used to. I am loving it here. The people we have met so far are great! Especially Elizabeth and Brenden Wilson. They are the couple that Liz and Jenny are living with. This is going to be a great summer! On our way here, we stopped in Vegas and walked around for a couple hours and it was a lot of fun! I will post more pictures when I take some more! I am excited for this summer! I'll keep everyone posted on what's going on!

Trip to Salt Lake

Last night was the funnest night ever! My roommates and I drove to Salt Lake to see the U2 light show at the Clark Planetarium. It was incredible! While we were there, we ate at the Trolley Square Pub and Brewery.... hahaha only Emilie and I were really old enough to be in there...sorry Ellen and Heather. But we still at there cause they have areas for young people to sit. But the food was delicious. After that we drove down town and walked around the Salt Lake City Library. It was way cool. I had never been to the new one. We took a lot of fun pictures. When we finished there, we went to the Gateway mall and walked around for a while then went to the U2 show. It was way cool! Here are just a few pictures from our fun night...oh and on our way home, we ate at Denny's and played "Would you Rather."

Spring Break 2008

This is the first night in Portland. It was Heather, Me, Liz, Becky, and Jenny. We weren't supposed to have 5 girls in a room, but we did because Liz has to leave the next morning to fly back to Logan for her grandfathers funeral. We missed her a ton on the trip!!! She is one of my favorites!

Here is most of the group at a rose garden in oregon. we didn't really get to see any roses blooming cause it's not the right time yet, but it was still really pretty!!!

This picture is of Brett, Maria, me, Becky, Jenny, and Heather at the Japanese gardens in Oregon on our plant science club spring break trip! It was so pretty there! We all had the hardest time leaving!

This is just a picture of becky, brett, me and jenny...i think we got a little bored on the bus. That wasn't hard to do actually. We were on there a lot!

Sunday Night Activity

Well, my roommates are insane. We decided that we were going to pop these balloons with our butts and it was hilarious. So here are the pictures! OH and we were rubbing them on our heads to make them stick to the ceiling! It was quite entertaining! Oh and one of my roommates thought it would be funny for all of us to put balloons in our shirts. Don't ask me why, but it was dang funny! I laughed so hard I was crying!

The Snow in Logan

Well I decided that I should document how much snow there really is here in Logan and just how cold it can get. Can't really see the cold, but the icicles should give you a pretty good idea. I haven't seen icicles this big since I lived in Salt Lake many years ago! I took the majority of these pictures on my walk home from school, and then a couple at my apartment. The one with the tree is pretty funny. It's our neighbor Wylies Christmas tree. He threw it off his porch and we have all just left it there cause we thought it looked cool. It sure did make us all laugh! And the funny thing is, it's still alive. Go figure, it's sitting in a ton of snow. Well, that is my story for today. I'm trying to take more and more pictures. We will see what else comes up later!

Fun at 1am........

It has been a while since I have been able to post anything on here. Number one, I don't really have many pictures because my computer crashed right before Christmas and I lost everything, and number two, life is crazy for me this semester. Not only do I have 17 credits that I have to work extremely hard for, I work about 26-30 hours a week. It's tough, but I do it. Well, tonight, I got home from work at about 11:30pm and my roommates wanted to go on a walk. I wasn't feeling to hip on the idea, so I kinda put it off, and was invited to watch a movie at my friend DeLon's house. So I went over for about 20 minutes and then came back home. Wasn't really feeling like watching a movie. So I decided that a walk was what was going to happen after all. So me, Ellen, and Emilie and our neighbor Travis went on a walk. Not a very long one since it was snowing and really cold. But here are a few of the fun picturesthat we took. OH and the coat that I am wearing is new and it only cost me $5! It's one of the warmest coats I have ever owned as well! Well that is all. Hopefully I will have more pictures again soon!

Monday, December 3, 2007

This was actually a couple weeks ago, when it was still warm and there was no snow on the ground. But Heather, Emilie and I decided to go around and look at all the beautiful fall leaves everywhere. As we were driving around, we came upon this park that was covered in leaves, and needless to say, we decided it would be absolutely fun to play in them. We had a blast that day! here are just some fun pictures of the three of us being outta control!!!! :)
